Construction Update 5-17-2017

The final excavation for Washington Street continues. The new access road for the CN Railroad emanating from the cul-de-sac continues is almost complete. The north railroad shoofly restoration is ongoing with topsoil seed and blanket to be installed next week. The precast pump station house has virtually been completed with its commissioning to be held at the end of the project.

Construction Update 5-10-2017

The final excavation for Washington Street is underway, weather permitting. The landscaping behind the west retaining wall, basins 1 and 2, and the restored south railroad shoofly has been installed. The new access road for the CN Railroad emanating from the cul-de-sac continues. The north railroad shoofly restoration is ongoing with topsoil seed and blanket to be installed next week. The precast pump station house has virtually been completed with its commissioning to be held at the end of the project.

Construction Update 5-3-2017

The final excavation for Washington Street is underway, weather permitting. Storm sewer installation along Washington Street continues. The gutter behind the west retaining wall has been completed and landscaping will occur in this area this week. The gutter and sidewalk behind the east retaining wall was also installed this week. The new access road for the CN Railroad emanating from the cul-de-sac continues to make progress with its driveway being poured yesterday. The landscaping along the south shoofly is scheduled for this week, also weather permitting. Landscape installation has begun along the retention basin near Lake Street. The precast pump station house has virtually been completed with its commissioning to be held at the end of the project.

Construction Update 4-26-2017

The north shoofly restoration is ongoing with its topsoil, seed and blanket to be installed this week. The final excavation for Washington Street is underway. Restoration behind the west retaining wall will start this week with landscaping to follow. The new access road for the CN Railroad emanating from the cul-de-sac has resumed. The landscaping along the south shoofly is scheduled for next week. The precast pump station house has virtually been completed with its commissioning to be held at the end of the project.

Construction Update 4-19-2017

The north shoofly restoration is ongoing with its topsoil, seed, and blanket to be installed next week. The next major task for the project will be to continue excavating Washington Street which is tentatively scheduled to begin next week weather permitting. The new access road for the CN Railroad emanating from the cul-de-sac has resumed. The precast pump station house has virtually been completed with its commissioning to be held at the end of the project.
