Installation of the retaining wall east of the railroad bridge continues with the temporary sheeting being removed and backfilling to follow. Once this is completed the new CN access road emanating from the north end of the cul-de-sac will begin to be installed. The embankment that supported the railroad shoofly track south of Washington Street has started to be removed. The temporary soil retention system continues to be installed near the north side of the bridge, and braced excavation is occurring in preparation for extending the north abutment. The precast pump station house has virtually been completed with its commissioning to be held at the end of the project.
